Welcome to somephotographs.com. My name is James Saucier and I’m a generational Mainer, angler, skateboarder, snowboarder, thru-hiker and outdoors enthusiast. More recently, however, I’ve delved into amateur photography and writing to document my world and bring my interests together into one place.

It’s no question that social media has become less social… Algorithms consist of posts from strangers and ai-generated videos and nonsense. In an effort to create a more meaningful and individualized portfolio, I’ve created somephotographs — a virtual journal and photographic portfolio unadulterated by ai and Meta.
